Today is Garbage Day.

It's 35 degrees and drippy at 5:00 a.m.

You may have to scrape an inch or so of slush off your car.

The Weather Forecast from YNN:  "For today a chilly air mass will start to filter in and we may see some snow mixing in on the backside of the steadiest precipitation early this morning. In the wake of this front a few lake effect rain and snow showers are expected to develop east/southeast of Lake Ontario and it will be colder with highs only in the low 40s. Wind chills in the 30s through the day.

Luckily, high pressure makes a comeback starting Wednesday and is forecast to dominate our weather right into the weekend providing dry weather and a decent amount of sun. High temperatures through the rest of the week look to be at or just below average with highs in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees."

FOR THE RECORD

******

Because the last two days have been almost "summery," and I found a dandelion in bloom, I thought I would look back and see what November 13 had been like a year or two or six ago.

2006 - No snow.

2007 - No snow. Dollar General was getting ready to open.

2008 - No snow. Students from MPS visited their "pen pals" at Harding Nursing Home.

2011 - A frosting!
