Recyclable Collection today.

25 degrees at 5:00 a.m.

(It was a very late night - this will be short!)

The Weather Forecast from WKTV:  "A storm system will develop and head up the east coast.  This system is called a nor'easter, and will unlikely play a major role in our weather.  The majority of the rain, wind, and snow will fall in New England and far Eastern New York.
The weather will warm up big time by the weekend.   Sunshine, with highs well into the 50s to near 60 on Saturday and Sunday."

Yesterday was super-clear ......

................ and the ladies at the polling place in Deansboro were just as bright!

They told me about a new Beaver Pond .............

............ and it certainly is!   Another Dam Project, right next to VanHyning Road, just off Route 12B, before you get to the bridge.

This E-note from Brian Cossette:

"The Waterville Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts need your assistance to get the word out for our annual food drive pick up this Saturday, November 10, 2012. Please see attached a door flyer that was spread around last Saturday, unfortunately we did not have nearly enough door hangers. This year, more than ever the Waterville Food Bank is relying on us to help stock the pantry for the upcoming holiday season. The Food Drive encompasses the entire Waterville Central School district, the area served by our donations(Please stress all food and donations help out local residents). Scouts will begin picking up Saturday at 9am and continue until we have picked up all areas.

Anyone wishing to donate, please place non-perishable food items in a grocery bag and put outside where it would be visible for the arriving Scouts. If you plan to be away, need items picked up, or would like to donate to the local Food Bank please call Susan Edkins at 939-0412."

In case you didn't get one, here is the "door flyer."
