FOR THE RECORD

Mystery Solved!

New York State is testing a brine when sanding the roads. It sprays in intervals and may be able to last longer than the salt commonly used to keep the roads warm enough to melt ongoing ice and snow. It continues to show after the storm.

Thank you to New York State Department of Transportation for their help in solving this mystery.

It's 47 degrees and sunny at 8:30 Sunday morning.

The WKTV Weather Forecast: "Clouds begin to decrease on Sunday with unseasonably warm weather.  Highs in the mid to upper 60s Sunday & Monday with mostly sunny conditions.
A cold front brings showers on Tuesday, followed by a return to dry, seasonably cool weather Wednesday and Thursday."

Enjoy the holiday, everyone.
