Frederick M. Hilsinger
Knoxboro Frederick M. "Bubby" Hilsinger, 57, of Knoxboro Rd., passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012, at his home, with his family at his side. He was born September 27, 1954, in Utica, a son of the late Frederick and Jane Sturtevant Hilsinger, and was a graduate of Waterville High School. Fred was a purchasing agent for the Syracuse Research Corp. in Syracuse. He enjoyed antiquing and restoring furniture and homes, including the complete restoration of his own home. He was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Waterville. Surviving are a brother, Kevin Hilsinger, of Westmoreland; two sisters, Debra Johnson and her companion, Richard Worwa, and Janet and Brian Gibbons, all of Waterville; nieces and nephews, Kelli and Matt St. Peter and their children, Kaitlyn and Matthew, Jami and Andy Danquer and their children, Noah and Hannah, Tara and Mike Griffin, Wade Worwa, Michael Gibbons, Stephanie and Ken Boone and their son, Brayden, all of Waterville, and David and Brandon Hilsinger, of Westmoreland; many cousins; and several dear friends. He was predeceased by an infant sister, Diane, and a sister-in-law, Andrea Hilsinger, on January 27, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 15, 2012, from the Grace Episcopal Church, East Main St., Waterville, followed by interment in the Waterville Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home, 210 East Main St., Waterville, on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 4277 Middle Settlement Rd., New Hartford, NY 13413.
