Today is Garbage Day It's 38 degrees and gray at 7:45

(But I'm at home; no new surprises, this morning, ; no repeat trip to the ER! I like it, alot!)

From WKTV: "A cool, cloudy, unsettled start to our Thursday in Central New York. Some flurries are possible on the hilltops early, but accumulations are not expected. A few peaks of sunshine later today with highs near or slightly above 40°.

Decreasing clouds tonight with a hard freeze. Overnight lows in the low 20s.

Sunshine early Friday, followed by increasing clouds. Cool, with highs in the upper 30s to near 40°.

The next weather maker will be an area of low pressure sliding to the south on Friday night. There's the potential for light snow, especially south of the Mohawk Valley Friday night into early Saturday. We'll keep you posted on the details as they become available.

Seasonably cool this weekend, with sunshine Saturday and showers Sunday.

The little yellow blossoms of Coltsfoot drew my eye to the steep banking, just south of the underpass on Route 12.

Pulmonaria, sometimes called "lungwort' or "Pearl,"is a very old-fashioned garden plant that comes back every year to a few spots in my yard.
