It's GREEN WASTE Day.

Please note:  LEAVES should be raked only as far as the "green belt" - NOT into the road.

41 degrees and dark at 6:45.

WKTV's Weather Forecast: "Cooler weather dropping in from the northwest will bring us lake effect clouds and showers early today.  A few snowflakes are possible in the higher elevations, with no accumulation expected.  Highs this afternoon in the low 50s.   With a gusty west breeze, wind chill temperatures will be in the 40's.  There should be a good deal of clouds around through the morning but there ought to be some breaks in the overcast during the afternoon.
Partly cloudy skies tonight with patchy frost.  Lows in the low 30s.
Dry and mild weather returns by the middle of the week. "

Sometimes I have so many items to post that I think that "Blogstop" will object and send me flashing "Error!" messages.   Then there are days like this, when all I have are a few pictures - like these:

Driving slowly along California Road, I stopped to "talk to" a fawn - old enough to have lost his spots, but not so experienced as to have learned that not all motorists carry cameras, not guns.

There is still some magnificent foliage to be seen.

Maples behind the Zweifels' home on Hanover Road...

...... and near the little old law office on Tower Street in the Village.

Euonymus at Jim and Connie's on Elmwood Avenue.

Autumn decorations on Buell Avenue .........

.......... and giant pumpkins on Sanger.

More later, perhaps.

Have a great day!
