Recyclables Day

It's 28.8 degrees and dry at 5:30.

WKTV predicts: " A quiet, mild Wednesday, with highs in the upper 30s.

The trend is colder with the next approaching storm system for (Wednesday) night and Thursday. It now appears that sleet and freezing rain will break out later Wednesday Night and continue for a time into Thursday before enough warmer air allows for a switch to plain rain. Travel will likely be impacted through early Thursday and we'll continue to monitor the latest trends.

Lake effect snow showers in the cards Friday and Saturday. Turning colder, into the 20s for the weekend."

A Curiosity

For several weeks this odd duck - mallard-size but mostly white with a dark head - has been mingling with all of the other ducks on the little pond at the foot of Grant Hill, but now the Mallards have left and this "orphan" or "outcast" has been left behind. Is it a different breed or just a different color?

Perhaps Jody Hildreth knows.

Have a good day, everyone!
