Rain will pick up in coverage and intensity Monday night. Tuesday morning will be on the wet side with areas of steady rain likely for the morning commute. Rain will tend to taper to widely scattered showers by Tuesday evening.
Wednesday and Thursday will remain unsettled and a bit cool. There won't be any widespread wet weather either day, but each day will feature the chance for a few showers."

Yesterday
It was a perfect day for work or play, and there were several golfers enjoying themselves on the golf course in Sangerfield.
For some gardeners, it's time for the annual Battle of the
Bishop's Weed!
Bishop's Weed!
Other gardeners were crowding the parking lot and aisles at Alcott's Greenhouses, picking out plants for flowerbeds or vegetable patches, or ..........
..... selecting hanging plants for Mother's Day.

Flowering shrubs and trees still decorate the village.

In front of the Schoolhouse Apartments.

When I'm on "back" or "side" roads, out in the countryside, I drive so slowly that I can usually spot even the tiniest little flowers on the roadsides. These Wild Strawberry blossoms surprised me: earlier than ever!
It's more difficult to slow down on Route 315 in Forge Hollow, but if you can - and know where to look - you'll see several clumps of Wild Columbine ........
.....whose blossoms like like this, close up!
