A New Look in the Park!

A Huge "Thank You!" to the Waterville Garden Club

for the new Patriotic Bunting on the Bandstand!

(And to Mr. Kelley of the DPW for securing it in place!)

The DPW has also set out the "tubs," from the Fire House all along Main Street, for the members of the Garden Club to plant.*

* Keep in mind the Waterville Garden Club Plant Sale on Saturday morning at the Methodist Church. All proceeds benefit community projects like these!

IN THE MAIL

A nice letter from Lee Pavlot: "Yes, that is a new fence safety cap that the Waterville Fire Department had installed on the top of the fence at the field. We thank them for adding this to the field to help protect all of the Little Leaguers who play on the field. Also a huge thanks for repairing the fence and for all they do by providing the field for the Waterville Firemen and the Waterville Legion Little League teams. Thanks—Lee Pavlot, Waterville Little League"

FOR THE RECORD

The first four replies to my query about "Old-timer's Story Swaps" (see yesterday's blog post) were enthusiastic votes for "Afternoon" gatherings!

I'll make a few more phone calls this morning, and then consult with Jill Getman at the Library.

Have a good day, everyone!
