I spent a great deal of time on a "Wild Goose Chase," yesterday afternoon and finally found what I was looking for: hundreds and hundreds of Snow Geese landing on the pond behind the Moon residence on Madison Street.  I'm heading back out there, right now, to see if they're still there!

I spotted them at around 4:30 ...........

............... watched while hundreds circled 'round and 'round and landed......

............... until it was just to dark to see, anymore.

Lynne Matteson brought this article that appeared in the Sunday O-D, "Snow Geese Like You Can't Believe" by John Pittaressi to my attention: it's a good read!
