Recyclables Day

It's 62 degrees and foggy at 5:30 a.m.

The YNN Weather Forecast: " Morning clouds and fog will give way to a good amount of sun by afternoon. Still one or two odd showers can’t be ruled out, especially for areas furthest south and east. Highs will be well into the 70s to near 80.

A warm front will lift to our north on Thursday bringing a return to very warm temperatures but also some humidity. While most will remain dry, a pop-up type thundershower can’t be ruled out. Highs will be in the mid 80s. There will be a better chance for a few scattered showers and thunderstorms late Friday into Friday night. Highs Friday will be well into the 80s.

IN THE MAIL

(From Jeff Reynolds.)

"Among the many who have turned out to assist in construction of the Observatory are, L to R, Rotarians John Brickley (Gilbertsville) and Jeff Reynolds (WPL's director),-- and Jim Gleitsmann from the Mohawk Valley Astronomical Society. The trio framed and installed the roof over the building's "warm room" on last Saturday. Mike Tower will be raising the trusses and installing the primary "rolling" over-roof within the next couple of weeks."

(Thanks, Jeff, and all of you who are working on this project!)

FOR THE RECORD

While some aren't as fortunate, one former HSBC account-holder announced that he had logged in to First Niagara online, had followed their instructions, and found his accounts exactly where they were supposed to be. His reaction: "I'm so excited I don't know what to do!"

I, however, am still missing one account and am prepared to spend the day on the telephone!

Have a great day, everyone!
