It's Recycling Day
43.7 degrees and dry at 5:15 a.m.
The Weather Forecast from YNN: "With a cold front passed the area, colder temperatures have arrived and much colder than yesterday climbing into the low 40s and falling through the day. Wind chills will be a factor as winds will be out of the northwest 10 to 20mph. It will feel like 20s throughout the afternoon.
This cold air will fire up the lakes and lake effect flurries and snow showers will be possible through the afternoon and evening. Light accumulations of an inch or two possible mainly southeast of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.
Thursday will still be a chilly day with highs in the 30s and 40s, but seasonable. By the weekend we will have a warm up again into the mid and upper 40s and showers will return."

I am so saddened

What a wonderfully warm and sunny day it was, yesterday. I had invited a friend to come for coffee and early Christmas cookies and we sat outdoors in the afternoon, just enjoying the "Springness" in the air and we even contemplated bringing out the croquet set!
Jim Brackett, perfectly comfortable in a T-shirt, was hanging decorations at his home on Elmwood Avenue.
Out on Madison Street I met Jamie Bechy and friend running in shorts!
Just after they had passed, and as I was turning around in the vet's driveway, there came the judge - also enjoying the warm weather.
I saw some young ladies out running in T-shirts and shorts but my pictures of them were just a blur - either I was slow or they were running too fast. Pam Brown sent me a note saying that she'd seen gals similarly dressed, but wearing sandals, out Christmas shopping.
Yes! There are lots of lights on the Christmas Tree in the Bandstand. Thank you!
More decorations. These at a home on West Bacon Street.
The Landis Farm Stand on Shanley Road now holds a complete nativity scene.
One of the prettiest doorways is at the VanDenbergh residence in Forge Hollow.
