Yesterday
Several people headed to Hanover in hopes of seeing Snow Geese but, sadly, all of the travelers had left.
I was busy for most of the day with seasonal domestic duties and social happenings and did not go out looking for photographs until a bit after three o'clock, at which time it was not only raining hard but also very dark.
Instead of being dismal, however, it made it easy to see lighting displays which, from simple but elegant doorway decorations to long strings of "icicle" lights illuminating entire buildings made the afternoon bright.
(I apologize for the inaccuracy of colorization in these pictures: my camera sees most white LED lights as yellow, and I'm not able to correct that error.)
Here are the pretty results of the Bowens' Sunday afternoon work!
I know that, although the lights were not on, the Nasypany residence on White Street has a beautifully decorated doorway, but I had not realized what a pretty little "grove" of Christmas Trees they have "planted" on their side lawn.
This "Candy Cane" house is on Sanger Avenue.
Also on Sanger, at the Elliott residence.
The Petries', on White Street. (I think that Hilda Barton would be delighted!)
The Pumilia home on Tower Street.
On Putnam Hill.
I believe that this is the Machold residence, on West Bacon Street.
The Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home on East Main Street.

The Good Old Days!
Found by accident, while searching for something else:
The Kozy Korner was in Sangerfield, but I don't know where it was located - perhaps someone else does.

More when it happens.
Have a great day, everyone!
