Posted on Tuesday for Wednesday

Wednesday is Recyclables Day

The YNN Forecast:   "Warmer Temperatures Return Wednesday

While clouds are expected to have the upper hand early, there will be some increasing sunshine developing. Temperatures will be noticeably cooler with highs in the low to mid 50s. Still breezy.

A warm front lifts north Wednesday allowing temperatures to climb into the mid/upper 60s with a blend of clouds and sun.  Temperatures right through the end of the work week look to top out in the 60s; however, the threat for showers returns to the forecast Thursday afternoon and Friday as an area of low pressure approaches from the west."

Here & There

Swamp Maples next to Brothertown Road.

The leaves of the Ornamental Pear Trees on West Main Street are turning deep red.

The DPW had the "Leaf Vac" out and around the Village  ....

.....  cleaning up the tree belt and making sure storm drains weren't clogged.

There's a big "Warning: Road Work" sign at the corner of
E. Bacon and Stafford Avenue.

All of the activity - ditching? - was taking place just about at Lewis Road.

Instead of turning left, as I usually do, I aimed eastward and then took these two picture of the view.
