It's Garbage Day

49 degrees and dry at 5:00 a.m.

The Weather Forecast from YNN:  "Monday will be a breezy, but pleasant day with a good amount of sun expected.

A warm front will push toward the region Monday night. This will bring us hit/miss showers Tuesday. Wednesday will also be a bit unsettled as the front slowly moves north. Once this front is north of the region, temperatures will rise way above average levels for the end of the work week."

HAPPENING IN DEANSBORO

Here & There

Even in gray weather Scott Legacy was up on the ladder. He's reached the really finicky, final details.

The maple tree on the side lawn of the St. Bernard's church rectory is still magnificent!

Fallen leaves stuff leaf bag pumpkins at the corner of W. Bacon Street and Babbott Avenue.

Maple leaves in Hanover.

Always a pretty sight.  The wagon on California Road.

Parked next to Fuess-Cleary Road, a combine ready to harvest soy beans.

A timely sign outside the home of  Countryfolk Keepsakes artist Karin Pender at the corner of Route 12B and Burnham Road.

FOR THE RECORD

I made a special point, Sunday afternoon, of driving on every village street to count the number of political lawn signs. I know, from casual conversation and incoming Emails, that there is a considerable amount of interest in the coming presidential election, so I even had a pad of paper and pen placed next to me to record the count. About fourteen miles later: surprise!

TOTALS

Obama -  1

Romney/Ryan  -  1

Levi Spires for Assembly - 5

Hanna - 1

Due to the late-evening scheduling of the third DEBATE, tonight, followed by the usual discussions, I think it's safe to say that there will NOT be a blog post on Tuesday morning!

Have a good day everyone!
