It's Metal Collection Day

29 degrees and getting light at 6:45

YNN's Weather Forecast:  "We’ll see sun and clouds on Wednesday which will be accompanied by quiet weather and chilly temperatures. Highs will only be in the low 40s.

High pressure will be in control of the overall weather pattern through the rest of the work week and right into the upcoming weekend. This will allow for a good deal of sunshine and dry weather during this time period. Temperatures for both Thursday and Friday are forecast to top out in the mid to upper 40s and for the weekend we should be a couple of degrees milder with highs in the upper 40s and low 50s."

Yesterday was a "gray day," with lots of clouds, some rain and snow showers, resulting in no lasting accumulation.

The countryside looked bleak and most of the crops have been harvested.  However -  if lone, dry cornstalks caught the eye of artist Andrew Wyeth,  perhaps we should all take time to look at them, too.

You can't miss this brightly lit tree in front of the Japanese Restaurant on East Main Street, and with every good day more Christmas lights will appear - everywhere!

Have a great day, everyone!
